Cotripal Agropecuária Cooperativa began its operations focusing on wheat storage and trading. Currently, the cooperative has an extensive business network divided into three major segments: agricultural production, livestock production, and retail. Rooted in cooperativism with a focus on member and community development, Cotripal prioritizes the quality of products and services, standing out for its socio-environmental responsibility.

The client sought low-cost BI tools for implementation and migration to replace internal Javascript development on the company portal, which presented financial and performance data.

Data Analysis through Redash 

Facing this challenge, our Data & Analytics team found a solution by structuring reports for data analysis using Redash.

The proposed project involved creating custom reports for real-time revenue tracking and monthly results, pushing the boundaries of Redash solutions.

Using Redash, our team built specific queries in Cotripal's MySQL database to bring consolidated and structured information, allowing the graphs to function differently from other BI tools. As Redash doesn't store information in an internal data model, information consumption is real-time, directly from the company's database.

Two dashboards were developed, one focusing on the accounting view with result data by segment, group, and sector, while the second provides a real-time overview of the company's revenue.
